Kura partners with CheckedSafe for end-to-end passenger safety
Kura, the UK’s largest shared transport and technology specialist, has partnered with CheckedSafe, the leading vehicle compliance and fleet management system to maximise passenger safety.
The partnership brings together Kura’s expertise in passenger safety when travelling, with CheckedSafe’s compliance and monitoring. As a result, Kura can offer a comprehensive passenger safeguarding and vehicle compliance package to its education and business customers.
The CheckedSafe technology will enable Kura customers operating their own vehicles to benefit from advanced fleet and vehicle management checks. Drivers can access a comprehensive compliance system with customisable defect checks that allows them to carry out and report on vehicle checks directly from a smartphone, anywhere, at any time.
The vehicle compliance checks are stored in a secure CMS where they can be reviewed by staff and the system also enables customers to go paper-free with their fleet management.
For school or corporate transport teams, the vehicle management portal allows for easy reporting, rectification and monitoring of any defects, preventative maintenance inspections, the scheduling and notification of vehicle maintenance and inspections, as well as the ability to check driver licences.
Godfrey Ryan, CEO of Kura, said: “We’re dedicated to delivering the strongest passenger safety solution for all of our education and corporate customers. This partnership with CheckedSafe enables us to offer the highest level of vehicle safety and we’re confident that their offering is the best on the market.”
Gary Hawthorne, Director at CheckedSafe, said: “Partnering with Kura is an exciting development for CheckedSafe because both companies share the same vision of developing great technology that is easy to use, but most importantly, supports safer transport for children and employees. We have already combined for new customers through our relationship with Kura and are excited to grow with them into the future.”
